Michael Williams

About This Author

Michael E. Williams is a frequent guest speaker and workshop leader at regional, national, and international events. He is the author of numerous articles, stories, poems, plays and books and serves as General Editor of The Storyteller's Companion to the Bible series published by Abingdon Press.

He is the Senior Pastor at West End United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tenn. Michael was educated at Vanderbilt University, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and earned a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Michael has served churches in the Tennessee Conference and taught courses for Garrett Seminary, Vanderbilt Divinity School, Candler School of Theology, and the Doctor of Ministry programs of Drew and Wesley Theological Seminaries.
