Billy Doidge Kilgore is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and affiliated with the United Church of Christ through an ordained ministerial partnership. He is a native Southerner, book hoarder, coffee connoisseur, BBQ enthusiast, fan of documentaries, and  avid reader. After graduating from Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia he served congregations in Tennessee, Virginia, and Indiana. Billy lives with his wife, Cara, and their son, Henry, and 3-year-old Shetland sheepdog, Jolene, in Chicago. Billy blogs at ourdeepestselves.com.
