Rev. Alex da Silva Souto (they/ them/ theirs) was born and raised in Brazil. They are a queer immigrant of color serving as an elder in full-connection at the New York Annual Conference. They were the founding co-convener of the UM Queer Clergy Caucus until GC2019, and currently serve on the executive team for UM-Forward, Global Justice Coordinator for MIND, and pastor of New Milford UMC.
