The Reverend Amy Yeary Holmes is an ordained elder in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church and received her M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary.  She has served 10 years in Holston as a pastor.  She is also a clinically trained chaplain, receiving her clinical units at James H. Quillen VA Medical Hospital.  Currently she is on family leave but writes a weekly religion column for The Jonesborough Herald and Tribune.
