The Rev. Dr. Craig Kocher is the university chaplain, the Jessie Ball duPont Chair of the Chaplaincy and a lecturer in leadership studies at the University of Richmond. He is a United Methodist minister. Kocher holds a B.A. in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master of divinity degree from Duke University, and a doctor of ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary. Previously, he was associate dean of the chapel and director of religious life at Duke.
