Evon O. Flesberg, MDiv, PhD, LCPT, is assistant professor of the practice of pastoral theology and pastoral counseling at Vanderbilt Divinity School. The founder of A Talking Place Pastoral Counseling Service in Brentwood, Tennessee, Flesberg is a diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. She is ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has served congregations in Iowa.
