Jacqulyn Brown Thorpe is an ordained deacon and an adjunct faculty member at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. Prior to this, she taught for eighteenn years as an adjunct faculty member at Howard University School of Divinity while also serving in a local church. She is co-author of The Web of Women's Leadership: Recasting Congregational Ministry and editor of God Delivers Me: A Model From Strengthening The Black Church for the 21st Century, published by Abingdon Press.
