Dr. Jane Marie Thibault serves as a gerontologist and clinical professor of Family and Geriatric Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she directs the geriatric assessment program and teaches social gerontology in the school of social work. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, teaching ‘Pastoral Responses to Aging.' Although her primarily involvement is with the medical and social aspects of aging, her prevailing interest is in the nature of psycho-spiritual development in later life.
Dr. Richard L. Morgan earned degrees in counseling and three degrees from Union Theological Seminary. He served several pastorates where he developed dynamic older adult ministries. He taught both religion and psychology at the college level and was a pastoral counselor. After his "retirement," he devoted himself to writing, and has written 14 books, he he blogs at View from 80.
