Jeffrey Wheatley is an interdisciplinary teacher and researcher who studies religion, race and politics, with a historical focus on U.S. history and culture. His current project is on religious fanaticism as an object of secular policing. He is an instructor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Iowa State University.
