Jerrod Hugenot

Jerrod Hugenot is the Associate Regional Minister for the American Baptist Churches of New York State. A graduate of Ottawa University and Central Baptist Theological Seminary in his native Kansas, Jerrod has pastoral experience in his home state and Vermont. Serving as a small church choir director, bi-vocational minister, small church pastor and now denominational staff, he understands the world of the small to medium size church and its ability to have a great big missional footprint. His book reviews appear regularly in "Sharing the Practice", the journal of the Academy of Parish Clergy. Other reviews and essays have appeared in the Journal for Preachers, Baptist World, Review and Expositor and the American Baptist Quarterly.

Ordained to American Baptist ministry in 2004, Jerrod is involved in ABC denominational life, the Baptist World Alliance and various ecumenical and interfaith partnerships. You can follow his blog at Preaching and Pondering. He resides in Albany, NY, with his spouse Kerry and three cats (Biblia, Paige and Codex). His favorite Abingdon title is the new edition of The Quintessential Porcine History of Philosophy and Theology.
