Rev. Dr. Katie Hays pastored small, traditional congregations for nearly two decades before veering off to plant Galileo Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), or just “Galileo" for short, in the suburbs south of Fort Worth, Texas. Galileo turned five years old at Pentecost in 2018. She is using a study leave funded by the Louisville Institute to write a memoir of Galileo’s first five years.
