Sarah Pulliam Bailey is a national correspondent for Religion News Service, covering faith, politics and culture. She has written for several media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, USAToday.com, The Chicago Sun-Times, and other publications.

She spent four years as online editor for Christianity Today, where she covered religion news for web and print and helped manage blogs and social networking. She also regularly contributed to GetReligion.org, a site that critiques the mass media's coverage of religion news. She wrote a monthly column for the Indianapolis Star and occasionally writes columns for the Wall Street Journal. 

She ran Wheaton College's student newspaper and interned for four daily newspapers, covering crime, religion, courts, government, military, business, features, education and county fairs.
