Forgiveness sets you free
Rev. Carla Pratt Keyes, Pastor of Ginter Park Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia, preaches a sermon from Matthew 18:21-35. She begins, “A while back my congregation acted out today’s parable from Matthew – at a mid-week supper, or something; we were on the stage in our Fellowship Hall. Since it’s always easiest to assign big parts to people close at hand, I was the king, and our music director, Doug, owed me a zillion dollars…”
Sometimes a zillion dollars would be easier to forgive than the pain others cause us. How do we forgive that? How do we forgive them? Carla has some suggestions.
