Thankful for Prayer

In the same way, the Spirit comes to help our weakness. We don’t know what we should pray, but the Spirit himself pleads our case with unexpressed groans. 27 The one who searches hearts knows how the Spirit thinks, because he pleads for the saints, consistent with God’s will. —Romans 8:26-27

The whole idea of prayer is awesome! We think it's amazing that we can tap into the internet and connect with millions of people at once, or one person at a time, and yet we still don't get what prayer is. Prayer is a powerful connection between you and God, and it never fails. It never goes down, it never gets interrupted. Prayer plugs you into the greatest Source of power and energy possible, the Creator of all things.

Saying we appreciate the idea of prayer is nice. Getting the awesome opportunity we have to speak directly to the King of the Universe, the Lord of All, the I AM, is beyond our comprehension and yet, prayers go up to the kingdom every second of the day and each prayerful voice is heard. Each one is valued. Each one reminds God that he has people on earth who seek a relationship with him. Thank God each time you bow your head, or send a hopeful and prayerful thought his way. He hears you!
