The Sin You Won't Admit

We don’t like to admit our own sin.

If we are to admit sins to anyone, we point out other’s transgressions, but rarely our own. And if we do admit our sin, we never admit the deep sin… the dirty stuff. We are afraid of the implications of admitting what we’ve really done, thought and said. Yet the problem with never fessing up to the deep dark stuff is that we will NEVER experience any victory over it because we’ve never gotten rid of the very thing that is poisoning us!
